About Frank Hoeber

I am a writer and historian living in Philadelphia PA. The Hoeber family originated in Karlsruhe Germany in the late eighteenth century. Over the last 200 years, descendants and their spouses have contributed greatly to progressive politics, history and the arts. Since the 1980's I have been mining the very large archive of correspondence and published writings to convey the history of the family and the times in which they lived. This website, over time, will contain stories, texts and images related to this interesting group of people.
